Santa Baby

Some close friends of ours invited us over to their house for a small gathering with our littles to meet Santa. All day yesterday my children talked about seeing him and they were super excited. Santa brought candy canes and read them a book. He also talked to each child there about why they were on the nice list and what they should do to stay off the naughty list.

Joslyn was so into it and even asked him why he came to Molly's house LOL 😂 She sat right on his lap and told him she wanted shopkins for Christmas. This is the first year Joslyn has been so into this holiday and actually understands everything. I love seeing all the magic through her eyes.

Next up was Hudson, who was so good the entire time until I decided to pick him up and put him on santas lap. As you can see from the picture he wasn't having it. As soon as I picked him up though he stopped and all was fine. But, you gotta have one crying kid, right?

When Blakely sat on his lap she just stared at him so unsure but never cried. I was so surprised! I thought for sure she would be the one to cry since she usually doesn't let strangers hold her. She even let me put her back on his lap for a second picture with all three of them, but as you can see Hudson still wasn't having it.

Can't wait to see how they react next year! This mom thing is so much fun. Also, heres a super easy kid friendly dessert to bring to any party where theres littles or adults. ☺️🎄🎅🏻

Matching Christmas Jammies

If you know, me then you know I'm slightly obsessed with my kids "twinning." I just can't help myself! I think its the cutest thing although I'm sure they are going to kill me once they are older. Every year I like to buy matching Pajamas for Christmas and on Christmas Eve they get to wear them. We read christmas stories, make santa cookies and watch a movie to get extra excited for christmas morning. I love this little tradition of ours.

Here's a little flashback of Christmas 2014 and 2015

So far, all three years we have only bought Carter's Pajamas. Not only for the price but the quality and cuteness you just can't beat. We bought ours at the Carters outlet a few months ago for only $10 a set.

I've picked out my favorites from the carters pajama line this year for both boys and girls. They are sold out online of the ones we have but you can find similar ones for girls here and boys here or try your luck at the store!

I'm A Barbie Girl

For Joslyn's Birthday this year we decided to get her a ride on car. After searching all over the internet we found the fisher-price Cadillac Escalade and fell in love. We read through all of the reviews and were sold.

Joslyn and Hudson both ask everyday after breakfast if they can go drive the Barbie car. They are completely obsessed. I like that there are two different speeds so if Hudson is driving they can go a little slower and we can bump it up when its big sisters turn. Also, as if it wasn't cool enough the car also had a radio! How cool is that?! There is also a compartment in the back to hold toys for your littles road trip or if your Blakely, your snacks! Girlfriends got the right idea... We purchased ours through Walmart here

Intro

Hi guys! Thanks so much for checking out my first blog! I'm so excited to share a little peek into our lives as well as some of my favorite things. First off, My name is Michelle Diltz and I am 28 years old. I'm married to my best friend, Robert. We have three little babes. Joslyn (4), Hudson (2), and Blakely (1). You can say we are busy or have been.. Ha! I always knew I wanted to be a mom and am trying to soak these long but special days up with my family. The Blushing Blonde name describes me perfectly. A lot of people don't know I am a shy, introvert and socially awkward person. Social events and environments can sometimes give me anxiety. Once I get to know someone though and trust them you will get to know the real me which is in my husbands words a little ditzy, fun, and caring person. I'm so excited to share my journey through motherhood with you along with some of my favorite things.
